Sizzlers vs. Mo. Capitals - 1/26/19 and 1/27/19

Your Topeka Sizzlers remain undefeated after going 2-0 over the weekend against the Missouri Capitals in the ABA's South Central division and taking their record to 9-0.

In Saturday's night game, the Sizzlers won easily 132-98 over a very feisty bunch. Don't let the score fool you Coach Thompson say as this Capital's team is solid. Without trying to sound boastful, our Sizzlers team is TOP NOTCH and our sponsors and fans should be very proud of them.
We were led by Anthony Downing's 36 points, 8 rebounds, Julian Winton's 11 points and 12 assists, and Brady Skeens 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks.

In Sunday's game, the Sizzlers opened up the game on a 12-0 run and never looked back winning 153-114.

Brady Skeens led the way with 35 points, 12 rebounds and 10 blocks followed by Titus Rice with 30 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals. Anthony Downing 29 points, 14 assists, Julian Winton 27 points, 10 assists, Latrell Love 25 points 5 rebounds. Mekan Moss had 5 rebounds before leaving the game with a lower leg injury and Skyler Link played some quality minutes and tallied 3 steals.

The Sizzlers next home game is Saturday, February 2nd (7pm) at McLouth High School. Come support your 9-0 Sizzlers.
